Wyndham Vr Patriots' Place

This is a time share unit that is offered if not being occupied. Great deal for a nice condo unit. Fully furnished kitchen. TV's are out dated, but have one in both the living and bedroom space with good selection of cable channels and Wi-Fi. Great bed. Although we did not use the pool, it is very nice. Grounds are well maintained.

The only reason I stayed here was because I botched the reservation for Hampton Inn. This hotel is actually a Wyndham chain timeshare resort. The rooms are all suites. Rooms are clean, entertainment equipment is a little outdated. Grounds are spacious, well kept, and you have access to amenities at 2 other resorts. In conclusion, this is a family oriented resort. It is centrally located, but you won't get any of the freebies you might get at a hotel.

If you have a couple of hours for a sales pitch this place is for you. I go away to be free of that, if I were to know ahead of time this was active share I wouldn't have booked.

The accommodations more than met our expectations for cleanliness and high-end furnishings. The kitchen was adequately supplied. The grounds were pleasant, though not elaborate at the location. The convenience to Williamsburg was great. We loved it!

Nice timeshare type hotel. Kitchenette was convenient with the addition of separate room for sleeping with a pull-out couch. They can get you cheap tickets to local attractions if you agree to listen to the timeshare presentation. We didn't choose to do that.

Great place for a week-end getaway. Close to all area attractions and shopping..restaurants in the area are very good.. spacious condos with fireplaces and lots of shade trees..been in all seasons and never disappointed. Helpful and friendly front staff.

My family and I very much enjoyed our syay at the Wyndham Patriot. Staying in a one-bedroom suite versus a hotel room was a definite plus. The rooms were very clean and well-appointed. Great pool. It was sometimes difficult to get hot water from the faucets, however. While the bed in the bedroom was extremely comfortable, the sofa bed mattress was very worn. I did like this place quite a bit since they were friendly and pretty clean. When we told them we were bringing a one year old, they placed a play pen in the room with no charge. The rooms need a little updating, but it wasn't such an issue for me as it was clean. The buildings have Collonial Williamsburg architecture and it makes it look attractive and interesting. The one bedroom we stayed in had the complete kitchen and washer and drier. On the down side, I felt like the walls were very thin as we heard everything our neighbors talked about. The people upstairs also were noisy and we heard their fights and constant noises. Overall, I would stay here again for the right price and hope not to get noisy neighbors. ...read more
