Hotel Guest Reviews of the Super 8 Toronto
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.February 11, 2012

Enjoyed the fact that all rooms have small fridge and microwave. A real plus for those who like to save a bit of money and bring their own food. Staff was very courteous, rooms are extremely clean and parking is inexpensive in hotel.

We were very pleased with our stay. We went to see the Trailer Park Boys in Toronto. I choose this hotel because of the reviews. I know there are a few reviews that are unsatisfactory but I don't know why. I can remember the gentle mens name at the front desk but he was WONDERFUL. We are from Michigan and had never been to Toronto before. He gave us 2 maps showed us where to go-and was just a sincere nice man. We were early, and he gave us a king room with a jacuzzi for no charge- how awesome! We didn't use the tub though we were too buse sightseeing and going to our event. Our room was clean- you could smell a faint scent of bleach which is very pleasing to both my husband and I. The bed was comfy, the TV was great- I was thrilled to have the Showcase network- (We don't have that in the states). Overall We were very happy with our stay and would recommend this hotel. If we ever go back to Toronto- we will stay here again.

I've stayed in many hotels in Toronto over the years, and this might now be at the top of my list. It's a good place if you're
just looking for a place to sleep-- don't expect a beautiful lobby with concierge service and an overpriced restaurant. But when in Toronto, I don't know why you'd need such things anyway. They did offer breakfast in the morning, of which we did not take advantage, and supposedly there's a pool, which was closed for renovation. There also seemed to be a spa, though we didn't have time to check that out either. ...

Excellent at this price point. Need to know it's above a Chinese mall (cheap imports and possibly recycled junk & a food court with low prices - did not sample).Room was large and reasonably clean, checked for bedbugs - none found. Corner room with comfortable king bed & nice city view. Easy to control temperature in room. Great water pressure & no shortage of hot water. Hallways seem unheated. Micre & fridge a nice touch. Continental breakfast in lobby wing, lots of space, attendant always there cleaning & replenishing. The real bonus is the location - we are in our 60's, but managed to handily walk in the rain to CN tower, Roger's Centre, Ontario Museum. Asian restaurants abound on this street or walk to Queen street for non-Asian restaurants, shopping etc. Saved ourselves a bundle by using subway to western extremity and transferring to express bus right to airport terminal. I definitely recommend this hotel as a convenient, comfortable moderately priced option. ...

The hotel room was good, spacious bright white bathroom, mini fridge, microwave and huge king bed. The bedding wasn't thick or fancy, the TV was an old boxy flat screen one but these things were what I was expecting. What I
was not expecting was to draw the drapes on my window and be 6 inches away from the top of an escalator where people go up and down into the adjoining mall all day. So basically had to keep the drapes closed the whole time unless you want to be on display. In the morning housekeeping let themselves in at 8:30 am and started banging on the doors two more times after that and started arguing with me the third time when I opened the door to discuss the ridiculousness of the situation. But overall the staff was nice and there is a free daily breakfast of cereal, breads and stuff like that. No hot breakfast. No pool was a big bummer too. ...

Bed bugs, hairs in bed, elevator still broken apparently for years (from other reviews dated 2009), slept on top of bed with clothes on. Stay away!

This hotel is a good price, but the breakfast isn't too great.
