Hotel Guest Reviews of the Econo Lodge East San Antonio

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Nothing, the room was absolutely disgusting. Dead crickets, dirty bathroom, stains all over.
Everything, the room was filthy and if I would have checked in earlier, I would have found another hotel. We checked in st 8pm and were leaving st 5am.

Room was in horrible condition. Was not happy with my purchase at all.

Nothing is likable about this hotel. Don't waste your money.
Rooms are dirty, towels are dirty. location is bad.

Worst hotel to stay with kids. I booked a non-smoking room, got a smoking one and the hotel won't change. Could not sleep, cigarette smoke was too heavy to kill even with room fresheners etc. Towel had a shoe mark on it. shampoo was a small sache for 3 of us. there was no bathtub so after shower it water would splatter and make it dangerously slippery.

The room was big.
The neighborhood did not seem safe. No pizza delivert after midnight.

This hotel seems to be located in a hard part of town. We did not have any problems but did not feel very safe when unloading our car at 11:30pm. The person that checked me in seemed like she was asleep or under the influence of something. Seemed to be out of it. While unpacking there was this guy in the parking lot with a white tank top and a bunch of tattoos. It looked like he was there to do a drug drop off or something. Not sure if he was but that is what it looked like. ...read more

This place was awful! The room was a smoking room. We asked to get a non-smoking room because my daughter is very allergic. The attendant said they were all out. The room was infested with roaches. My husband showed him the pictures he took of the roaches. His reply,..."This is Texas". We decided to get a hotel room elsewhere. Fortunately, we were able to get our money back. I would not recommend staying here! ...read more

The waffles were in the shape of Texas.
The rool did not include shampoo or hand soap.

You get what you pay for. I only paid $50 for the room and it was was simply a room with no extras.
