Solo Traveler
Overall this hotel is too old. It needs renovation right now. Some buttons are hard to switch. The restroom is very small. But you can see the skyline by the window. It easy to walk to museum of art and eastern state penitentiary.

location excellent. Whole food around the corner. walking distance form train station and the museums. carpets on the floors need replacement. doors although painted look as if they were broken into. Beds good, TV perfect. There is this slight feeling of seediness in the hotel. that's my only negative comment. Staff was helpful and nice.

Going through renovations, which we were unaware when we made reservations. Smelled, air conditioner didn't work well. Dingy.

In no way does this hotel rate the prices they charge. You can get a room at a Wyndham for about 2/3 the price and have a much nicer experience.

Business Traveler
The room was small, old, dark, and uncomfortable. It felt like a hotel that you rent by the hour. The food was awful, though the service was friendly. At $160 a night, you'd be better off paying another fifty and staying at a better hotel. The location was fine, but not worth staying at this hotel.
