Hotel Guest Reviews of the Baymont Inn And Suites Anaheim

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The hotel is located in a bad area of town, which can't be held against them but I strongly suggest not walking around regardless of what the front desk clerk(who was rude) states! The building and lobby cosmetically look appealing but once inside the room this starts to change. The carpet was melted in multiple spots from the iron and the wall paper in the bathroom was peeling. The grout between the tiles in the shower was missing in multiple spots and there was calcium build up on the shower head! There was an awkward openning next to the king bed where the couch had been removed. The room however was free of dust and was clean. One Saturday we asked the front desk to arrange for the free shuttle to Disneyland and were told that the driver wasn't coming in today. I have a strong suspicion that this happens often! In the future I would choose to stay at a different hotel ...read more

No Internet service, even though they say free internet. No connection in room. Went to office 3 times about this.

Awful area for room. Too much noise and traffic

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also appreciate the free parking space.
The awful smell throughout the hotel, besides the main lobby area.

Unfortunately, there was a lot more cons than pros at this hotel. Perhaps my expectation were a bit to high because I have stayed in hotels in the same area at the same price with much better results. For one, I found it weird that there was what I believe to be a whole Chinese family living on the third floor? Everytime we passed their room, which turned out to be their kitchen and living room, their room was wide open. Walking through the 2nd floor, there was a very distinct smell of Chinese food. Then late at night, you can hear these people talking in the hallway as if it were their own home. In general, the whole hotel had this weird smell. As for the rooms, they were clean. Only thing I found odd was there was this huge empty space, as if there was suppose to be a sofa there. One thing I appreciated was as to how close this hotel was to Disneyland. ...read more

The two staff ladies that helped me check in and check out. The breakfast was okay.
Their is a guy named Junior that works their that is incredibly rude and will interrogate you if he is having a bad day or not in a good mood. He works the graveyard shift and he makes it obvious he does not like his job or shift.

This hotel would be perfectly fine at 3 stars but it would need to get rid of negative people that do not know how to give good customer services and hospitality service. At $100 a night extra towels and blankets should be given if requested. Unfortunately we were not given extra blankets becuase Junior did not want to give us any because I highly doubt the hotel did not offer this service. If it did not offer this service then I would not reccomond staying their because to me that is ridiculous. If you do plan on going their the hotel is fine just ask if Junior is an employee their becuase I would stay clear from him. ...read more

The directions that I got to drive to the hotel were not accurate. The directions gave the address as being on South Beach Blvd. There is no street South Beach Blvd. I drove 14 miles out of the way looking for this street only to find out that the location was less than 3 miles off the I-5 exit. The staff at the hotel was no help in locating them. Also the hotel advertised that they had free premium channel HBO and they did not. ...read more

The staff was very polite and helpful.
Our room was next to a dealership, which had a German Shepard that started barking at every bystander. Also the were no darkening curtains! So the sun came right in, wasn't so great after a long day at Disneyland.

Overall, it was pleasant, I personally wouldn't stay here again just because of the lack of darkening curtains. But breakfast was great and it's not that far from Disneyland. But it was cheap and that is always good! This is one of the best hotels in that area, so if you want cheap and a good small hotel, pick this one.

Very questionable activities in various rooms on the third floor

The hotel is in need of upgrades. If you are a single male needing a cheaper room to just lay your head for the night, then this is the place. THIS IS NOT WHAT I WOULD RECOMMEND TO FAMILIES. I couldnt leave fast enough in the morning. First, because of my allergies going crazy from the mold/mildew. Second, when we got back from D-land at 1130PM there were various rooms with their doors cracked open. And a man standing at one of the doors as if waiting to go in. HMMMMMM. Lastly, the place seems to be used primarily as an apartment complex. I counted at least 5 individuals, in the morning, all going to the same room with bowls and chopsticks in their hands....as if going to get food from a make shift restaurant. The room even had a sign in it stating that they had the right to refuse service to anyone...HHMMM. It should be called Shady Oaks for all the shady things that were going on ...read more

Very quiet room and free continental breakfast. Friendly staff.
No microwave in room. Was further away from family I was visiting than appeared on the map.

We stayed on the top floor which was occupied by by many pregnant Asian women. Was not sure what was going, but I asked the desk and they told me they were a bunch of traveling women staying for thirty days. Women came and women left in a big white van at night. They left their doors open all day and appeared to be tended by older Asian women. Heard only one baby cry for a couple of minutes, but no others. They were very polite and quiet, but I'm still curious as to what was happening. ...read more
