Hotel Guest Reviews of the Residence Inn Houston Downtown/Convention Center
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 2, 2013

I wouldn't mind staying there again. The hotel is in a great location of everything downtown. Plus the staff was nice and my room was clean and nice looking. All the added fees and charges would be the only reason I wouldn't stay again. They also charged my card three times because I paid on priceline and then gave them my credit card at the desk, and I end up having three charges on my card all at once ( priceline charge, incidental fee and a second charge for my weekend stay). but since It was an authorization charge they wouldn't release the funds back to my card for two or three days. All bad. ...

Besides parking being quite a distance and having to park on street (Dually)

This was a great location & hotel for what we needed. We were spending the evening in downtown with friends and this hotel was in walking distance of several restaurants & bars we wanted to visit. The room exceeded our expectations for a three-star hotel. The only downside was the lack of parking (basically valet only) and the noise from the street. Other than that, this hotel was well worth it! ...

Clean...large room

The rooms are large and comfortable. The breakfast is good too. The parking charge is outrageous for Houston. Street parking is more reasonable and fairly easy to find. Safe, relatively speaking too.

The hotel is conveniently located at the heart of the downtown. The staff were friendly, the rooms were spacious and us feel at home.

This hotel is in downtown Houston and convenient to area restaurants and the HPD - quite convenient, right? The room was large and the AC unit worked perfectly. A frig, dishwasher, stove and dishes. The full breakfast was delicious and provided all types of morning goodies from waffles to oatmeal. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. What a way to start the new year! ...
