Super 8 Austin/Airport South

Hotel staff was very friendly. Room was clean with good amenities. Breakfast could have had more options, but was adequate.

Very good deal for the price. Hotel had little extras such as a welcome basket. Appears to be family run, with emphasis on service. Hotel is cleaner than most, Ive stayed at based on the price. Great place to stay, if you are on a budget.

Very pleasant stay. Hotel was clean; staff friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was excellent with a nice choice of waffles; sausage sliders; bacon and the usual muffins, pastries and cereal...plenty for our tastes. We were a little disappointed to find there was no pool but that is my fault for not double checking. There is a fitness room but we did not use it during our stay. Convenient to the airport. After staying in a Holiday Inn in Chicago the night before, I was expecting to notice the big differences between chains. I was very pleasantly surprised, great room - spacious & clean. Breakfast typical for this price-range (waffle maker/cereals/pastries/egg/bacon) and was more than adequate. A nice touch is the free cookies and free coffee machine in the lobby - hats off to the local owners of this hotel for doing such a great job.

I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel was nicer than the average Super 8. The independent owners really cater towards their guests, from the Starbucks coffee machine at breakfast to the complimentary snack basket in the room. They even had loaner books and DVDs to choose from in the lobby. Friendly staff, and very helpful local info book found in the room. Even had a scale in the bathroom to see how much weight I gained while traveling! :) ...read more

Im really pist off that they over charge my credit card because they said that I took a teddy bear from the Room, im a bussiness traveler and never seen this bears in the room, i don't even know how it looks like, After i receive a bill from my credit card i saw it got over charge, I call and they said they can only think about a teddy bear How can you fight this, you know you didn't take
STAR, so is you word VS theirs. can't beat that ,, i really think the cleanning people take the bears to family and friends and they know we will get charge for it . This is wrong usually they have gift shops why put Teddy bears on a friking room, is like bed sheets do you really think im going to take an used bear that i don't know if who or where is been.this is ridiculous. ...read more

Hotel proved to be well above my expectations, very clean and well kept. Obvious pride taken in this establishment, breakfast was simple but good, comfortable bed, great TV with HBO. I am happy to recommend this establishment to all.

My satisfaction in this hotel area is more convenient and safe place to stay there.
