Hotel Guest Reviews of the Nine-O-Five Royal Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.October 9, 2012

We loved this hotel! We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite on the 2nd floor with a balcony. I loved the room and the old feel it had with the 4 poster bed and other furniture. The balcony was amazing for early morning coffee and relaxing in the evening. I will return to this hotel for future visits to New Orleans.

Would never stay there again. Absolutely nothing going for it except it's location. It is old, the floors are uneven, it is extremely overpriced, the staff seemed to go out of their way to not help us when we had questions or concerns.

Neat looking outside. But the room we initially had was in poor condition to say the least. My wife could not stay in the room more than a minute so we upgraded to a suite (double the price). The staff was understanding, polite and happy to take our money. No shampoo was provided, and the room felt unkept and dirty. We would not recommend this place for the price.

This hotel is very close to all the action in the French Quarter, so it's a good choice if you're in New Orleans to party. There was no central lobby or front desk, there was a man that gave us the keys when we arrived and the door to our room faced the street. The comforter on the bed had a blood stain on it, and the room smelled bad. We bought air fresheners and didn't use the comforter. The room was a nice size, and had some old looking decorations. All in all it was too expensive for the quality of the room, but I would stay here again given the proximity if all other reasonably priced hotels in the Quarter were sold out.

A budget price hotel in the French Quarter. Don't expect much on amenities. But the location is great!
