Hotel Guest Reviews of the Travelodge Hotel At LAX Airport

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

I appreciated the hospitality, comfortable bed, and nice landscaping.
A few too many flies in the breakfast patio area.

Nice rooms, shuttle service was excellent.
Difficult to find our room, map provided was difficult to read. No elevators and we were on the 2nd floor so difficult to get suitcases upstairs. Found out later the staff would've helped.

It is quite a charming hotel. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff made it very agreeable. Not to mention free continental breakfast!
You can tell there's some wear to the furniture and fixtures, but it was kept decently clean. Not so much within drawers though. I personally don't use them, but I can tell they weren't maintained. I also can tell they may not vacuum much. Found M&M's.

The layout (if staying along the street and backlot sides) may feel like you're at a motel. However, the inner rooms are surrounded by small gardens of plants native to the area. They're smaller than what I expected them to be judging from photos, but they are very beautiful. I HIGHLY appreciate there being a computer station, especially for printing boarding passes. Major plus for me, as well as the free Wifi. I only hoped there to be more lounging areas around the pool and inside the dining area patio. Nonetheless, it is quite a charming place. It may have issues with ants but nothing that can't be dealt with. There's also a kitty that lives on the premises, too adorable! Not so much if anyone's allergic, so beware. I may return, especially knowing they have pet friendly rooms. I would definitely bring my dog. The parking can get a little frustrating since there's a Denny's connected to the hotel. However, they give parking passes in order to park in their portion of the lot. That's a benefit. Doesn't help if all spaces are still taken, but still a benefit. The staff is very accomodating and friendly. As for the free breakfast, I would recommend a pork alternative to the sausage patties they offer. Turkey sausage would be a welcomed addition. I enjoyed the experience overall. ...read more

Outdoor pool and garden
Outdoor entrances; cramped, confining location

This chain could never be confused by the others you mentioned at the "Star" level. You seem to be using this technique more frequently...suggesting types of hotels and then assigning customers to ones that would not be considered as similar. gettin leery of your practices.
