Really good value.

I can't say enough good things about The Timbers. The location was perfect for walking around downtown Eugene. My room was clean, spacious and full of woodsy character from the hardwood floors to the wooden beams and wood slats on the ceiling and cool wood paneling on the walls. The staff was super friendly and gave some great recommendations on places to eat like a local. It's not a fancy hotel, but the vibe is great! I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Eugene. ...

I do like the Timbers Motel because its quirky and kind of a throwback to the hayday of independent motels. There's very little frills, but they do the basics well. The rooms are clean, the bed is very comfortable, large screen HD tv works fine. And the room's interior materials of wood floor and ceiling with indirect lighting reflects the motel's 60's architecture. Good proximity to downtown Eugene and the U of O. I look forward to my next visit. ...

Perfect for my needs, with a central yet reasonably quiet location, comfortable bed, and in-room amenities like wi-fi, a microwave, mini-fridge and table. Our two-night stay was comfortable, convenient and affordable, and the hotel clerk was very helpful and friendly.

Hotel is reasonably priced, the rooms are clean and have a refrigerator, and the location is great, walking distance to most places in downtown Eugene.

we returned in the evening from a conference we were attending and found there were no parking spaces left. we did not pay the price for our stay there to park in the street, so i just parked in front of their office. but the room was clean and sufficiently served our needs.

extra pillow had a smudged pillowcase, but the room was otherwise immaculate. The mattress was a new spring model, very firm, and we loved it. Better than the Hilton. furniture and TV updates were a plus . . . this could definitely be listed as a 2 star hotel; I've stayed in worse three-star establishments. I love the vaulted ceilings and table with two chairs in the room! ...

I would recommend staying at this hotel - especially for a quick, easy stay in Eugene. There are very few employees, but those that I met were helpful and pleasant. While it is an older motel, they have done some upgrades to the room (like a flat screen TV, and updated shower head). There was even a microwave and mini-fridge (not stocked) in the room for leftovers and/or drinks. After driving around and seeing the other motels in this price range, I think I made the right choice!! ...
