Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Terrace At Pelican Beach

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The rooms were fantastic, and there were a lot of great amenities if you were willing to walk across the street to the main building. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the resort was ideally located.
The amenities listed on the website were in the main building across the street, so they required a walk. Also, the kitchen was well stocked with every dish (even a blender!) that we could need, but there were no provided items food items, such as salt.

Definitely go to the Irish Restaurant, McGuires, and Hog's Breath restaurant and bar. Both are less than 5 minutes from the resort, and we go to both these places every time we go to Destin. You have to provide your own dish detergent and laundry detergent at the resort, but there are dish washers and washing machines/dryers in every unit. In addition to the fee for the room, there was also a resort fee, which covers the cost of maintaining the unit since all the condos are privately owned. We had to pay this additional fee upon arrival. There is a great pool bar, pool, hot tub, sauna, gym, and kiddie pool at the main resort, so it's worth the walk across the street. If we ever return to this resort however, we will stay in the main building since it was a bit annoying that these amenities required a walk or drive to the other building. You even had to check in at the other building. It was worth the hassle though. It was a very nice place and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. ...read more
