Chaming old glamour style, right on Stephen's Green and just a couple of minutes walk away from Grafton Street. Perfect place to stay when visiting Dublin.

Amazing, every step of the way. Breakfast was included in my rate, which may have been a result of my Marriott standing, but I was delighted when they said this at check in. Absolute decadence, with delicious choices, hand carved parma, a juicer for your own creation, tons of fruits, sliced meats, juices all served in a glorious dining room with crystal chandeliers, fine china and crisp white linens. Fit for a queen! We also had a dinner in the Lord Mayor's Lounge that was a reasonable fixed price for 3 courses and drinks in the bar. Despite the website being quite expensive, they advertised in house specials at the spa and dining, so I don't recommend booking ahead if you want to save money. Wait until you are there to see what's on offer. The beds had down duvets, pillows and mattress topper that were so comfortable! The bathroom was well appointed and the tub wonderful. Tons of space in the room and wardrobes. Absolute silence throughout my stay at night. Constantly circulating air, which is uncommon in Dublin. Helps the room smell and feel fresh at the right temp, all of the time. I walked most everywhere in town, but a cab can also carry you pretty much anywhere in the city center for about 7 euros. I'd move in if I could, and certainly stay there again! ...

The hotel is the Grand Dame of Dublin Hotels, classic, elegant luxury. Wonderfully located and perfectly furnished, we were not disappointed. Our room was not large but far from small. It was slightly disappointing that the ensuite bathroom only had a shower rather than a bath but for a one night stay, we didn't mind so much. We minded more that the water pressure was disappointingly poor. Staff are wonderful, couldn't fault them. ...

Got good price with Priceline. Hotel was OK but would never pay full rate for this hotel. Would not be worth it.

This is a must for every Dublin visitor, at least once. It's the ultimate old-world luxury experience. Book far in advance for package deals that might help with the heavy room rates. Regardless of what rate you get, once there, revel in the opulent surroundings, the courteous and helpful staff, and the super location -- it's a treat! Be sure to have a drink or tea in one of the gorgeous lobby rooms. ...
