Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Ridge Tahoe

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location. Stunning. Although there was no snow, a little unusual for thus late in the year, nonetheless beautiful at nealy 8200 ft.
If you didn't have a suite at the 'Plaza' complex at the ridge, I had a wonderful Deluxe king, you had to do your laundry in an entirely different complex not within walking distance. Finally lighting in the rooms really needs some work.

This hotel was perfect if you don't want to be in the thick of things. In fact its so high in altitude one has to make sure the can handle it. I was very very sick fir the first two days if my stay. But on a positive note, a whole lit of water and bananas reaaly helped me; you must drink twice or more of the normal water intake you are accustomed to. The view is spectacular. Certainly the Tahoe view is the best but the other side of the mountain isn't bad. Lots of activities. The beds are sleep number and HUGE! They seem so much bigger than my king at home. Bedding is great. Newspapers at your door each morning when you put out tge little request card on the doorknob. The deluxe king room isn't bug but it has a fabulous bathroom; BYO shampoo etc. They provide 1 bar if soap but u like a moisture rich soap in this high altitude anyway. Also bring lots of lotion. Finally, the staff was great. A yihoo to Nina. Nina was a Godsend because I really didn't know about altitude sickness. She went out of her way to make sure I knew what to eat and drink and what not to. She checked up on me to see if I was feeling better. I just think she went above and beyond in the utmost professional manner. I will definitely be back. I stayed a total of 10 days and I was sad to leave but look forward to my return. ...read more

The view and size of suite.
The sofa and love seat were very uncomfortable. Granted they were hid-a-beds.

The location in Lake Tahoe is beautiful anytime of year. The hotel price is a very good value. It is close enough to many types of activities and entertainment.

The food was good. Nice place for a wedding.
No air conditioning! Dirty ice bucket, and transportation van was in need of repair. Over priced!

Lovely area! We went to a wedding at this resort. Everything relating to the wedding was as expected. No air conditioning in the rooms. Rooms were very hotel 6. For the price I expected more. Restaurant was closed due to privrate parties. I was very disappointed!

Really nothing
No air conditioning and the room was easily in the 80's when checking in at 5:00PM

Not easy to get to and no air conditioning.

Hotel restaurant is only open on certain days. You would think Thurs-Sun, but not.

Room was newly remodeled, so that was a big plus. Everything was great except customer service at front desk. They really need some training.

The cocktails.
A bit 80's style.

The location was good for skiing and it was a quiet hotel away from the main Tahoe night life.

It was conveniently located to the casinos.
Could have nicer furniture.

I thought the hotel was nice, close to the casinos, and would recommend it.
