Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Porto Vista Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Conveniently located to waterfront museums and Little Italy area. Classy look and feel to the place. Felt fairly safe. Staff was very helpful. Interesting semi-outdoor halls and meeting areas. Nice views from top floor restaurant.
Parking was an extra $22/day. No street parking available. None of the usual binders or fliers in the room describing the hotel amenities and/or local features. Never enough cups, coffee/tea packets provided for the number of people registered in room.

The location is really good. We were able to walk to the Harbor and many other places.
We were put in a room that was definitely a "one person" room. It was very small and cramped. It looked old too. The parking was expensive. I think if we have to park at the hotel there should be a discount on parking.

The hotel looks good from the outside. The lobby is modern and fresh. But our room was small, cramped and felt unclean because it was old. I would only recommend this hotel because of the location.

The staff was friendly. The location was excellent. Very easy access to the freeway and to city events.
Most rooms open to a courtyard center which doubles as parking. Little light comes in. My room smelled like guests has not refrained from smoking. Parking costs $22. The wifi is slow unless you pay extra and the inside rooms makes cell coverage slow.

For the price and location it really is not bad. It was clean and the beds were good. 2.5 stars is about right.

Clean room.
Almost no cable tv, like 10 channels. The only parking is in an underground structure that you have to pay valet for a whopping 22 dollars that is somehow not included in your initial purchase of the hotel. the restaurant sucks in terms of price and food

Amazing location is the most quaint neighborhood.
Outdoor walkways do not provide much charm.

Was great deal but I wouldn't pay retail.
