Hotel Guest Reviews of the The MT Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff were constantly cleaning the common areas, and the room was very clean as well. We were very happy that the air conditioning worked very well!
Although the pool is very nice, the pool chairs were not very comfortable. It is not on or near the beach, and the pool area is shaded most of the day, so there is limited space to enjoy the sun.

This hotel is in the thick of things. If you want to be a part of the more local side of the DR, this is it. The room was big, and the pool looked nice and clean. It seemed pretty safe, and the restaurant wasn't bad. Plenty of close bars and eats around.
No one in the hotel or vacinity of it speak English. Which is not their fault, it's a Spanish speaking country. The bathroom shower was very small, and towels were few. Might have to be lucky with parking.

I like this hotel. It was pretty quiet and safe, though being in a more local area of town. I was able come and go as I pleased without being asked a million questions. There were many good quick food spots near. And plenty of bars within walking distance. If you are not worried about being with the real Domincans this place is a great place to stay.

Great staff. Very nice boutique style hotel off the road. You will never believe this little Eden exists. Would def return here.

You can walk to about 10 restaurants and bars clubs

Poll side and shady patio
no ice availabe at all, in the tropics. No bottled water in a country that even the locals don't drink tap. The breakfast was terrible

After not being able to connect to the internet in two different rooms, staff upgraded me to a pool side suite with working WIFI at no charge. A rough beginning but they came through.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful even though nobody spoke english well. The free WiFi worked excellent for me. Hotel is close to public areas such as markets, restaurants and bars.
The hotel is pretty far from the beach. But you can get there within 5 minutes by motorbike taxi for only 100 Peso

Overall it is a good deal for the price (xxx). If you want to stay at the beach all day it is not the right hotel.
