Hotel Guest Reviews of the Majestic Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Spacious divided room between sleeping area and lounge area. Television in either area. Helpful and accommodating staff. Great location.
Nothing to complain about at all.

Location Location Location. It is perfect. The fact that it is a "boutique" hotel nestled in a neighborhood makes it unique.
There were issues with the bathroom. The sink didn't drain well, the adjustable shower head didn't adjust, and the bathroom window regulator was stripped so the window wouldn't open.

Unlike other hotels that are among commercial buildings, this boutique hotel is right in the Lakeside neighborhood. It's steps from Lake Shore Drive and Lake Michigan - a primo location. It's close to the CTA Sheridan bus route, and it's convenient to everything.

Friendly, helpful staff.
Parking was a few blocks away and an additional,cost. The elevator would only hold for small people.

Staff was awesome. The breakfast guy was very helpful in giving us ideas on daily activities. The Hotel Employee was also helpful with hotel stuff and helping us find our way around local streets.

Location; convenience to Wrigley Field, LakeFront and to variety of shops and restaurants;
For approx. $---/night, Queensize Room was really cramped; Not thrilled to see a spider in the bathroom; one of the ceiling light bulbs was out; expect to be charged $30 for check-in before 3pm;

The location, the size, the character.

It's within easy walking distance of the lake, great pubs and cafes, and most importantly the Duke of Perth. It's small, clean and well-run by a friendly staff. Let's the traveler enjoy a "neighborhood" vibe instead of a soulless big chain.

The staff -- not only the front line staff but also the cleaning staff -- behaved impeccably. They were enormously helpful and very friendly.
I loved our bathroom, but our bedroom was tiny.

This is an excellent European-style boutique hotel that is ideally located. It can be a bit pricey, depending on booking dates, but it is in the middle of everything in Lakeview/Boystown. Our room was very small and was advertised as a queen bed but was actually a double. However, our bathroom was luxurious. The breakfast was okay. The staff were absolutely wonderful.
