Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Lancaster Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The location is within walking distance of everything we needed.
The room size is tiny. Otherwise, it is very nice.

The shower was amazing. Hot and high pressure water.

The rooms had real furniture traditional. The dining room was really nice & the breakfasts were delicious & creative. Shuttle service was great. Sade worked well liked the snack area & microwave. Refrigerator in room was great.
Bathtub was dirty with leaves in it. HMO tea bags. We do not drink coffee. I took the last diet coke and wanted more so went to CVS to purchase more. Valet parking was pricey considering we only used car to & from airport & paid for rental for 5 days.

Next trip to Houston we will know.

I loooooooved everything about this hotel! The price, the staff the cute snack room, the actual quality of the rooms, the little touches. I loved it
Nothing. It was fantastic.

This was such a great bargain! Since the hotel was redone, it is absolutely a great place to stay. The room was perfect, not huge but decent sized. Clean bathroom, lots of mirrors, very typical amenities. The bed was very comfortable and my view and lighting was great of Texas Ave. What I loved most about this place was the staff and the public areas. It's has great character and really made me feel at home. In addition the staff was so accommodating and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I need. My favorite part about this hotel though was the snack room where you can pick up snacks, microwave meals and other amenities. I was very happy to find this after a long day working with a client. Super happy with this place. I will ABSOLUTELY come back and stay here again. ...read more

Great location in downtown Houston; free 3 mile radius car service.

The rooms have recently been redone, so everything is new. The king room was spacious, and it was very quiet as far as other guests. Our windows faced the street, so there was some traffic noise, but nothing major. I might ask for a room that doesn't face the street next time. Breakfast was good, included in the room rate. Service in the restaurant was very good. Front desk staff was very helpful. ...read more

The people were very friendly. The only bad thing was the construction in the lobby!! Dusty and loud, but that is what happens when you renovate! The room Was nice but VERY SMALL. Overall the stay was great including the great breakfast included.

Room stayed very cold, my wife loved the shower.
Hotel was under construction. Toilet broken.

Overall, I felt the hotel room was fairly average and nothing very spectacular. The room was kind of small but was fairly nice. When we arrived at the hotel we were informed that they were undergoing renovations and that we might hear some noise throughout the morning. We awoke on Saturday to several loud sawing and some banging. The location of the hotel is within walking distance to some nice restaurants and some pretty good bars. I stayed in some other hotels around this area and think that there are much better options. Got this one for pretty cheap I think because of the renovations going on. Overall I was fairly satisfied but would have rather paid a little more to not have to wake up early to loud noises. ...read more
