Hotel Guest Reviews of the Kapalua Villas Maui

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The Kapalua resort town was private and quiet, giving us a great opportunity to relax away from noise and stress. The villa itself was spacious, and it was a great deal compared to other nearby hotels. Would definitely stay here again.
We liked how private Kapalua was, but the distance from lots of good restaurants may not be ideal for some people. The food in Kapalua is good, but it's overpriced compared to other nearby towns' options, so you may find yourself driving a bit for food.

Magnificent view, very spacious room, well maintained landscapes, closed to the beaches and walking trails.
The bed and couch were too old and very uncomfortable.

Location was quiet and away from the main highway. It felt secluded.
It's not a hotel. It's a timeshare. I didn't like that the resort fees and cleaning fees weren't clearly laid out. For instance, I had a one bedroom villa and the mandatory cleaning fee is $160 upon check out. Also $160/day if u want it cleaned.

OMG, the villas were gorgeousssssssss! Loved the showers! The plumeria and all the exotic flowers in bloom, the whale watching from our dining room table. What a wonderful experience.
The beds are low and the bedspreads are rough and uncomfortable. strange type of bedding. Would have expected much nicer linens and and firmer, better quality beds.
