Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Jade Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The cleanliness, the "newness" of the furniture in the room, the size of the room (for a NYC hotel), the lobby, and the staff at the front desk, the door, and the concierge.
There was one waitress in the hotel restaurant that needed a minor attitude adjustment. The shower was the style without a door but it was too small for that approach. Water always got onto the floor.

Wonderful location, mostly charming staff, reasonable sized room, very pleasant design features.

I liked that the hotel was close to the metro.
The elevator was incredibly slow & the shower doesn't have a door on it do makes a mess in the bathroom.

Hotel was nice overall. I would not stay there again because there were a few things that bothered me like the shower & the extremely slow elevator. It was close to the metro stop at 14th & 6th.

Hotel is very charming. Well thought out decor.
Not really.

The place is great as long as you're not expecting a ton of space. It's an older building in NYC so there are tight squeezes. Once you have your head around that, you'll be able to appreciate this wonderful hotel.

Amazing location - walking distance to trains, great coffee, restaurants, movies, everything. Very cute decor/design, great for a romantic getaway, and the rooms were actually above-average size (by NYC standards). Pretty quiet, too, even on a low floor.
Bathroom door had a large clear glass pane - not really an issue for us but if privacy/modesty are concerns, beware. Likewise, no coffeemaker or ice machines - not really needed with Joe and Think and Starbucks nearby, but something to consider.

The Jade Hotel gives visitors the full Old New York experience. The rooms and furnishings are first rate. The neighborhood was darling. The staff was very helpful.

Charming, squeaky clean, crazy thick towels, crisp sheets. A great place to stay!

Quiet NYC with a beautiful setting.
They didn't replenish bathroom toiletries which seemed a tad on the cheap side for such a lovely hotel.

Adorable 'NY=ish' hotel, combination of trendy yet warm and cozy. Beautiful furnishings. It felt very upscale - linens were super high quality and the room was quiet! The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I will definitely return.

Loved the deco décor, comfy bed, the fact that maid staff actually respects the QUIET sign on door, so one can sleep-in. Rooms quiet too! Very nice.
Everyone complained of excessive heat and staff could only say turn off heat completely and open a window. No fridge or minibar.
