We checked in looking forward to the night being able to stay put at the hotel(inn) for dinner, but were informed a Christmas party was coming at 6,never said the place would be closed off to us for dinner. The band EXTREMELY loud till 1115ish and the guests were just as loud. When the band ended, some guests carried outside right by our window till after midnight. It wasn't just us complaining to them, the house next door also yelled at them. The room was had a double bed, chair in it very small, and very cold. Portable heater helped. No tv. You couldn't walk around the bed cause chair in the way. They should have been more clear about the functions going on. I was a paying guest and expected to be treated as so. I would not go back.... ...

We overall had a great stay. Though we didn't eat at the hotel - we planned of having lunch on Sunday and they are not opened for lunch on Sunday, the menu for both lunch and dinner looked quite appetizing and reasonably priced.

If you're looking for a New England "homey" Inn, this is the place. Comfortable bed, lots of pillows for the "Little Lady". Nice quilts and quilt wall art (assume it came from nearby quilt shop). There is a tavern on premises (did not use it though). Live music on Friday nights. Overall I would definitely come back. It's been many years since I've been so relaxed as to be physically numb. I love it. ...

We arrived late in the evening and unfortunately missed dinner at the inn which I understand is a highlight. We received a room key (haven't seen one in years) and were welcomed like old friends. Very charming place.
