Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Fairfax Hotel At Embassy Row

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

I like the cookies they put in a jar in the lobby at night--I liked the staff at the front desk--especially catherine
way way overpriced--breakfast buffet for 2 with tip will run you about 60$$---the rooms are very small--if you get stuck with an adjoining room you might as well keep the door open--it's like standing next to the other person

the hotel is clean--the people are nice--it's just not what they say it is---4---4 1/2 stars---more like a 3 star hotel--if you pay 99$ a night it would be alright

Location and comfort level
Late evening reception staff member has no clue how to use soap, water and deodorant. He smelled so bad like from half a meter away I could percieve his smell. A hound dog would go berserk with this guy. Totally tanked my expectation of the staff.

Beautiful, elegant, great location. But stay at leat one meter from the staff, they can be smelly.

The location of the hotel is excellent. It is well decorated in a very traditional style. The beds were comfortable.
No free wifi in the bedrooms. Free wifi in lobby, but the lobby of this hotel is strangely small and almost nonexistent, with little seating. Very small bedroom; minuscule bathroom. The in-room coffeemaker makes terrible coffee. No hairdryer?
