Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Embassy Row Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

the location cannot be beat.
the mattress was years beyond its useful life and my back is still sore 5 days and one chiropractic visit later.

there are 3 elevators which are curiously slow, there were no water glasses in the room, the walls are paper thin, the continental breakfast was tired and the Wi-Fi was slow.

good location, pool, breakfast
slow elevators,, lack of toilet paper and kleenex and towels

Will be a 5 star when remodeling is done. Employees very helpful to tourists

The hotel was very close to DuPont Circle, and the Metro was 1/2 block away. It was easy to get around the city from there. The rooftop space was nice.
The hotel charged us an extra $9.95 per day for Internet that we did not use. This was after we had prepaid for the room. Not fair! They could use some more space for breakfast.

Very old in serious need of renovation. Worse hotel I have stayed in.

Location.
Small old rooms. Hallway carpet was stripped off. You have to pay $10 for wifi and "long distance calls". The worst thing, Parking. Only Valet parking, for $45 plus tax. Whereas you can park at other public parking lots for just fraction of this price.

There wasn't much.
The very loud air conditioning unit. The tearing up of the carpet in the morning. The lack of room service. Dirty lobby area, tables not cleaned after breakfast. I could go on.

I probably will not accept a 3.5 star hotel if this is what the expectations are for that level.
