Would not really categorize this hotel (for quality of rooms/amenities)any better than 3 star hotels, I've stayed at. Only reason, I gave 3.5 is because it had a very nice public lounge on second floor which had live music. I did not try their restaurant.

Great location in the heart of the entertainment district, the driskill is the oldest hotel and is just lovely in every way.

Not only one of Austin's first hotels, it is Austin's most historical hotel, having hosted presidents, congressmen and celebrities. First class all the way.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Close to restaurants and night life, but still quiet and romantic. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

This hotel is very elegant and rooms were stocked perfectly and beautifully. The staff was very friendly and this was much better than I even imagined.
Will definitely recommend it.
