This hotel was a classic grand hotel 30+ years ago and still is elegant. Other hotels are nicer but much pricier than the Drake. The Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Pinninsula, Swiss Hotel are more modern but twice as expensive. Overall it was a great hotel in a superb location.

Senior Travelers
We have stayed at the Drake before because it is located very close to our evening activity. It's always been fine. I had joked when they said lake view because I thought, sure you press your face to the window and look between the buildings. This was not the case. We had a complete view of the lake and of a little park. We liked it so much that we were sorry our stay was so short. ...

Solo Traveler
My room was dirty and tired looking. Glass rings on the top of the table glass indicating the room was not cleaned. Bath tub was a slow drain.
