Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Donatello

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The location is the best and the room was big enough for a Studio.
The downside of our stay was that the room was nos cleaned properly nor vacuumed. Coffee envelopes and shampoo were not replenished daily, we had to call every day for this.

Like the room size, rooftop and location.
From the room you could hear the street noise. Definitely the hotel can do a better job isolating the noise!

Large room. Comfy bed tv built in bathroom mirror was cool. Only bad thing was the satellite tv had bad reception kept pixelating. It was quiet and comfortable. Loved how they had microwave and mini frig. As well as dishes and flatware.
Just the tv reception.

Great location fabulous room.

The hotel is located close to Union Square and within a 20 min walk of Fisherman's Wharf. Public transportation is conveniently located to the hotel as well. The room is spacious, especially if traveling with children. The mini kitchenette was a bonus.
This is a "Club" and not a hotel per se, so some pressure to buy timeshare. Not explicitly stated upfront. Beds were made and trash removed each morning, but that's it - had to ask repeatedly for basics, e.g., toilet paper, towels, etc. No pool.

Some staff are clearly for timeshare guests and others are for "hotel" guests. Often, you ask someone for assistance and they tell you to ask someone who deals with "hotel" guests, e.g., concierge in lobby is for timeshare and concierge on 14th floor is for "hotel" guests but we had to figure this out on our own.
