Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Caledonian

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

End of April this place is EMPTY...essentially a private hotel with a view. Easily a---- night hotel when not in the off season. Room for 6.

The place was a huge and had a private hot tub (visible to the street and other balconies, however).
This is not really a hotel - it is a private condo with a front desk. We checked in at 7:30 PM and that was "after hours" with no one there to great us. No service at all and not what we expected. Didn't even have soap in the bathrooms and kitchen.

This should not be advertised as a hotel. It is not 4 stars, either. There is not a staff that keeps normal hotel hours (were not there when we checked in at 7 PM nor when we checked out at 10:30 AM). As a private condo on the slopes, it would be excellent for a multi-day ski trip. However, for a one night getaway, it was awkward to expect a 4 star hotel and get a condo with family pictures from the owners and odd pieces of decor. There was a large kitchen with dishes, but no hand or dish soap (dishwasher soap, yes, but nothing for use in the sink). Also no soap in the bathrooms other than shampoo. I expected something comparable to Hotel Park City because both were 4 stars and similarly priced, but in terms of service they are worlds apart. If I would have known that this was a private condo rental and not a 4 star hotel, I would have gone with Hotel Park City instead. ...read more

These accommodations were much more than expected. The room was a two floor condominium with full kitchen, living room, bedroom and
deck on each level.
The front desk was not staffed 24/7. When we arrived none there to help, but there was a safe, we could access for our paperwork and entry codes.

Great accommodations. Underground parking provided, with special gated area for hotel guests (read hotel instructions to find the gate keypad). This was a condominium, not a standard hotel room, so it was larger and had more than expected: two stories (both with patios, hot tub on upper deck), kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, 2 TV's with cable,
DVD players and
two bathrooms (both with a shower). We stayed two nights and towels were replaced.
Beds made up both days, although it is noted that as a condominium cleaning is only done for stays of 6 days, unless requested. The front desk is not staffed in the evening, and we didn't receive a combination for the safe that had our information, so we had to call for assistance when we arrived.

Great location, close to restaurants, entertainment, hiking, running.
upstairs air conditioning could have been better.

The Caladoneon is an upscale condominium complex located in the heart of the old main street of Park City. It's location is ideal for it's proximity to great restaurants and entertainment. Plus it's within walking distance of many trail heads for hiking, Mtn biking and running. It also provide free underground parking. Parking is sparce in Park City, so this is a huge plus.
