Hotel Guest Reviews of the The BLVD Hotel & Spa

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

It was so stylish and modern. I liked that it was only three stories. View from the room was so well thought of. The design was just so clever. The room size was amazing. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the lemonade in the lobby.
The walk from Universal is on a busy street. They need to mention they offer some shuttle times as that really was a great perk as we were concerned walking back in the dark along the busy street.

It's in a good location if you want to go to Universal Studios. You can walk to and from the park.
This hotel's amenities were overstated. The "gym" was one elliptical and one treadmill that was really loud. The "spa" had no one on duty. The "King Suite" had a queen size bed and dirty ottomans in place of an additional seating section.

Location and shuttle to Universal studios.
There weren't frequent shuttles to get back to the hotel from universal studios.

This is a cleverly renovated hotel, quite lose to Universal Studios with more charm and less expense than the Sheraton and Hilton nearby. There is a real emphasis on cleanliness here. Love the hard flooring.
Waft of chlorine as you open the bathroom door. Least you know it's clean. Mirrors need to be updated. Was surprised by the taxes, but those are for all hotels in the area. Parking is $25/day, but still cheaper than neighbor hotels.

We checked in at around midnight and the reception was quick and easy and friendly. We had booked two nights but had decided to change our departure date and only wanted to stay one night. They handled it with no issue.
The decor was kind of dark. Lots of gray. And it was on a busy street. You have to leave your car keys at the desk because they have to stack parking. Not really in walking distance to universal. There may be shuttles, not sure since we drove.

Nice comfy king bed. Large tv with variety of channels. Nice decor. Had a heated pool (my son loved that). They offered complimentary drinks at the bar (but I chose not to have any).the walk in shower was awesome! Tons of room. Larger batheroom.Very clean
Said it was a 10 min walk to universal studios. Lie... 10-15 min walk to the shuttle that takes you to universal studios (unless you want to walk uphill forever). No continental breakfast. You have to pay separately for parking.
