Hotel Guest Reviews of the Blakely New York Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. decor of room.
Welcoming staff; liked the intimacy of the size (eight rooms per floor). Quiet and attractive. Complimentary continental breakfast.

When booking a hotel online one does research and chooses carefully. I arrived at this hotel, ready to check in and then leave immediately to a board meeting. Instead they needed me to wait while they processed paperwork to check me in to another hotel (of their choice) and then I had to go to the other hotel and check in there and was late to my meeting. I feel lucky that I liked the hotel they selected for me. I would have no recourse! And I think they felt they could treat me this way. ...

I saw the staff handle a variety of challenges with beautiful manners and aplomb. The rooms are on the small side, but this is New York, and there's all the room you need. Bathrooms are spotless. The concierge is terrific and knowledgeable. The location is safe, plenty of restaurants and subway nearby, right near Central Park and Carnegie Hall. This isn't a big hotel, but it's a great place to stay! ...

Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location was great. The rooms were very nice and had those little extras you don't often get.

I felt the room was a great value for what they provided and its location in middle of NYC. I will definitely look for this hotel again when I travel to NYC.
