Loud street noise in our second floor room, we had ear plugs which helped tremendously.

I guess the good news was the hotel that they rebooked us into we liked.
I did not like arriving only to find out that they had taken the liberty of rebooking us somewhere else!

When booking a hotel online one does research and chooses carefully. I arrived at this hotel, ready to check in and then leave immediately to a board meeting. Instead they needed me to wait while they processed paperwork to check me in to another hotel (of their choice) and then I had to go to the other hotel and check in there and was late to my meeting. I feel lucky that I liked the hotel they selected for me. I would have no recourse! And I think they felt they could treat me this way. ...read more

Staff were excellent, hotel lobby's small but elegant, rooms are clean and comfortable; lovely!
The only improvement might be to add staff to the breakfast service; they're so overworked!

I saw the staff handle a variety of challenges with beautiful manners and aplomb. The rooms are on the small side, but this is New York, and there's all the room you need. Bathrooms are spotless. The concierge is terrific and knowledgeable. The location is safe, plenty of restaurants and subway nearby, right near Central Park and Carnegie Hall. Clean, attractive, friendly, good location, exceeded my expectations.
Nothing - I liked everything.

Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location was great. The rooms were very nice and had those little extras you don't often get.

Nice that is was not too big and supplied nice room.
There was a draft in the window of my room.

I felt the room was a great value for what they provided and its location in middle of NYC. I will definitely look for this hotel again when I travel to NYC.
