The aesthetics are nice. Freshly remodled and modern. The bed was wonderful, nice and fluffy. I could have slept all day in the bed.
Although it has been remodled, the plumbing needs some work. We had a terrible time with the water temperature. It was either completely scalding or ice cold. In order to get the appropriate temperature you had to move the knob by centimeters

Entered helpful and professional staff, especially noted at check-in, housekeeping staff and the gentleman who brought up the luggage.
Shower was chic in appearance but not at all practical. The stationry half glass wall was too narrow, therefore water deflected all over the floor. All parties in our two rooms expressed the same negative experience Couldn't enjoy my favorite bath gels

Noticed dogs in the lobby upon checkout. Since, I am not a fan of animals, I hoped I was not in a room where animals previously stayed. I had a miscellaneous $50 charge on credit card after being told I had none. Will further seek resolution for this.

Hotel is in walking distance of the Expocenter, NASCAR Hall of Fame, and the Arena.
Room didn't have a fridge.

Hotel was nice and clean but the restaurant/bar closes way too early. And, there is a lack of vending machines.

Cleanliness, friendliness of staff, close to Downtown.
Air conditioning in the room was not adequate to cool the room. No ice machine or vending on the floor. Elevators were extremely slow.
