It is a nice little spot that really feels like Milwaukee because of being in the neighborhood. It is well priced and had great views, but be prepared for a bit old world charm.

Group Traveler
If you like classic early 1900s architecture, this is a excellent place to stay. The lobby is beautiful and well kept. You'll find the staff does an excellent job, very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small with old heating units and very small bathrooms. This is probably not where you want to stay with a family with kids or teens. The location is perhaps the best feature. We felt safe in the neighborhood. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of UWM and MSOE campuses, Brady St., and Water St. If you don't mind walking .5 to 1.5 miles, you can easily walk to most downtown sites. If the weather permits, it can actually be a nice walk. The hotel also provides a complimentary shuffle service to downtown locations (within 2 mile radius). This was a nice feature. ...
