Super 8 Manhattan Ks

The staff was nice & bathroom was clean. The room was the dirtiest I've stayed at in a long time. Bed 1 had black debris in it & bed 2 had big stains. There was a bug crawling toward the tv & the restroom by the exercise room had dead & alive coachroaches. We had a dog with us so the desk clerk waived the fee & I spoke to the manager about the room conditions. She was nice enough to waive most of our room fee. ...read more

Will be making many trips to Manhattan over the next 4 years as will have a student at K-State but will not be staying at the Super 8!

I was dissapointed to find the desk clerk could not issue a paid reciept for charges to my credit card. They offered the excuse that the room was booked online. That seems lame too me. In this modern times of computerization why don't they accommodate us computer challanged individuals? Charles

Since we were just going to be there for such a short stay so we decided that we would give this Super 8 a chance. It was way more than I thought it would be. I was very impressed with the room, the front desk gentleman when we arrived and the continental breakfast was like none other we've ever experienced. The young lady that was working the kitchen that morning went way over the call of duty. She stayed in the dining area, she was helping the customers with whatever, and constantly filing the food supplies. Overall, great employees. Motel was reasonable priced. In a good area for shopping or meeting areas.

For the price, a good deal. 5 minutes from downtown and KSU campus.
