Hotel Guest Reviews of the Super 8 Fredericksburg

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Nothing. It was utterly disgusting.
This was by far the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at. Grime everywhere! Dirty beds, toilet, shower, everything. Broken microwave and hair dryer. The staff was rude and unaccomodating and the "free breakfast" was just sad.

Disgusting. Enough said.

The location is close to downtown Fredericksburg.
The room was disgusting. Floors/carpets were not vacuumed and were very gross. Bathroom had a build up of dust on the top edge of the shower, which indicated a lack of thorough cleaning. Dust balls in the corners of the walls/ceiling. Beds sunk in middle.

We paid a hotel price for a disgusting, unclean, and uncomfortable room that would be nasty for even a motel. The pool was murky and had trash in the bottom. I certainly would not recommend this MOTEL to anyone.

Clean, location
Pool had light loose, probably for service or repair, looked a little hazardous.

We will return, excellent location: walking distance to downtown area, three restaurants in immediate area.

Room was in awful condition. Bed was worn out, curtain over window barely covered and had holes in liner shade.

Good location. Great price. Friendly & helpful staff. Very nice & clean room. Easy to use Wi-Fi. Free Parking.
Free breakfast was substandard in terms of offerings - only waffles, cereal, yogurt, toast coffee & juices. No scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage or hash browns. Computer for flight check-in was down all weekend.

It was close to the downtown area.
The room did not smell good. The door was very hard to open. The bathroom light was burned out.

The location is within walking distance to the downtown shopping area. The price is among the cheapest in Fredericksburg.
The carpet in the room was filthy, it left the bottom of our feet black. The room doors are electronic key card type. The second day they wouldn't unlock, requiring 4 trips to the office.

It's the cheapest, for better or worse. Lots of bikers staying there and construction worker types. The pool looked clean, but uninviting. It's perched in the parking lot between the hotel and the restaurant next door. There's an odd little unlighted secluded deck way at the back of the property overlooking a wooded ravine.
