Staff was friendly & helpful.
Continental breakfast was minimal.

I think the hotel is correctly rated as a 2-star hotel. I would definitely not give it 2 1/2 stars.

First, the staff we encountered were awesome. Patient, helpful, and very friendly. Then, at breakfast, we were at the end and the staff made us fresh coffee and refilled the waffle batter and syrup just for the 3 of us! Most would have said tough!
The room could have been cleaned better, there was dust along the lamp mounting and headboard. Also, our room was missing a chair and just had a big empty space. Took the a/c forever to cool the room so they should start that early for confirmed guests.

We got there late, around ten, and the front desk lady got us extra coffee and hunted down some of the sweetener I prefer. In the morning, the food lady was sweet and super accomodating by making us fresh coffee and making sure we had enough waffle batter and syrup. This is not a hotel, it's a motel so be aware of that...I wish I'd know that since it was two women and a teen girl traveling and I don't feel safe with motels. I guess the name should have told me but I've never stayed in this brand before. I am a hotel snob somewhat in that I'm picky and this was a have to last minute booking. We were on the top floor and even with some drunk kids up there it was relatively quiet and no highway noise at all. It's right on the highway and easy to get in and out but they let us know after we told them our gps was wrong that it's the satellites and NO ONE gets the right gps directions so once you get on the main highway, ditch the gps and just call the motel. The gps puts you in a parking lot on the other side of the road a mile away! The exterior of the motel is very well maintained so much so that it looks fairly new on the outside but the inside could use some help. All outdated and the carpet is just plain horrendous. One mattress good, one horrible. The rooms all have microwaves and mini fridges which is very nice and ours worked perfectly. There is only one ice machine on the main floor so they really should put one on the second floor...we were on the side of the building the machine was but if you were on the other side on the far end it would be a very long walk to get ice. The lobby is nice and well maintained. The only complaint and it's really minor is that as sweet as the front desk lady was, she committed a hospitality sin in that while we were there she was given some pizza by a guest and proceeded to eat on it while we stood there...never do this in front of guests!! To be a two star place, it works in a pinch. Oh, no security! Big problem. more

The staff :
Due to my room being so close to the main road, I was unable to to sleep soundly due to the noisy traffic. Please update your towels, scratchy and thin.

Price was fine for the motel. Staff was friendly and took care of getting us new batteries for remote.
Not really. Not a fancy motel but they seem to do their best to make the most of it.

Staff was friendly. Room was adequate for the price. Not a upper end motel but we just needed an inexpensive, clean motel and that is what we got. Breakfast was very basic. Cereal and bagged Danish but better than nothing!

It was a motel. The room was extremely hot when we got into it and had a strange smell. Not convenient to the highway at all.
