Hotel Guest Reviews of the Super 8 Cave City

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Quality for the price. Definitely a good deal if you just need a place to sleep. Everything is clean and in good repair
sometimes not enough parking spaces to be able to park near your room

This was a fine hotel. The location was good - close to the road to Mammoth Cave. The room and area were quiet.
There were several food options available-but close by ones seemed to be primarily fast food choices.

We got the suite, Its a very small with a partial wall that blocks the tv from the sitting area.Bathtub had hair in it and room had cob webs from lamps to wall and ceiling they came and cleaned the bathtub. but we bought cleaner and did it ourselves

parking was an issue on Sat.but understandable considering the area, breakfast was normal, sweet rolls, cereal and frozen sausage biscuits ...nothing special or hot and ready..We will look for another place to stay next time in that area that understands that a suite should be bigger and better than a regular room.

It was hard to beat for ---.
The breakfast was a tad light and the coffee was awful.

Prepare to have a larger lunch or breakfast elsewhere. Also, bring some coffee with you. The closest cafe is 20 minutes away and the closest Starbucks (if you're in to Starbucks) is 40 minutes away in Bowling Green.

It had been some time since I stayed at a Super 8. The site is well maintained. The room was very clean, the staff were great and were cleaning the breakfast tables between every use (guest). They were helpful with directions and local lore.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was quiet even though exposed to the street side. Fresh fruit was available for breakfast.

Much cleaner, better decorated, and more comfortable in every way than I would have expected. The staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't get to swim in the pool, but it looked clean and beautiful!
The free breakfast was... a free breakfast. It was nothing exciting. Only plain bagels, two types of cereal, and the waffles were the frozen kind. Edible, but not enjoyable by any stretch. But free, so who's counting?

Cave City is in a dry county (though not for much longer) - but fear not, fellow alcohol enthusiasts! You can get your boozy fill at the local Mexican restaurant (El Mazatlan). As an added bonus, the food there is amazing - undoubtedly worlds better than the Cracker Barrel.
