Welcome to the Super 8 Amsterdam
Free Wi-Fi and breakfast, affordable rates and a strategic location within striking distance of the Adirondacks and Catskills make the Super 8 Amsterdam a superior value in central New York.
Attractively resembling an overgrown farmhouse, the two-story Super 8 offers 67 rooms with free Wi-Fi and cable TV. Non-smoking rooms are available. Decor favors handsome abstract artworks, comfy recliners and rich colors like jade, maroon and primrose. A business center serves guests who forgot their laptops. Continental breakfast and parking are free.

Amsterdam attractions like the Noteworthy Indian Museum and Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame are under a mile. Craft a heritage cultural visit at the Kanatsiohareke Mohawk Indian Community, 10 miles off, or pay homage at the National Shrine of North American Martyrs six miles away. Albany International Airport is 29 miles, Syracuse Hancock International Airport 113 miles, LaGuardia 178 miles, Newark Liberty International 180 miles and John F. Kennedy International 189 miles.

Just a basic hotel, OK for a quick overnight along the way. Bed was comfortable, fairly quiet.

The location is really odd. It is away from everything in a field next to an abandoned restaurant. The driveway is hard to recognize because it goes down from the road. We got lost on the way there from Amsterdam because of all of the twists and turns. It does not have a laundry room which we really needed since we had softball uniforms to wash. The room was clean and good for a quick stay. There are stores and restaurants about 3 miles away. We would stay there again for a quick trip. ...
