Hotel Guest Reviews of the Staybridge Suites Torrance

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

1) breakfast staff very friendly and helpfull. 2) Quality of bkfast was very good. 3) Door separate bdrm from living room. 4) Each area has a large flat screen TV. 5) Pet friendly.
The bed was only a queen. I normally like either a king or double beds.

Our daughter lives in Hermosa Beach and is getting married next May. Friends and relatives will be flying in and we wanted to survey the hotels in the area. So we stayed 1 night at Staybridge and 1 night at the Marriott Courtyard. I was so impressed with the Staybridge, compared to the Marriott, considering that the Marriott has a higher start rating. TV channing offerings had more HD channels than Marriott. family with kids will like having units with two bedrooms. I had to drop off my dog at my daughter's aptmt when we stayed at Marriott the next night. Staybridge met our needs vary well. ...read more

I liked the location and the size of the rooms. It was very spacious for our needs and came with an adequate kitchen.
The beds were unusually small. They said it was a queen but it felt smaller.

Overall it was a good hotel stay and I would definitely stay there again. Having the space and kitchen really helps.

Friendly cleaning staff. Helped direct me to my room.
Front Lobby Staff. One particular person. Did not get her name. Was kind of rude and I felt rushed during check in process.

Overall I can't complain much about Staybridge. Value is great.

Room layout was great where the bedroom was private from the living room. It had everything from the kitchen to the bathroom to closet space and two TVs made it worth for a family with kid. Hotel staff were very courteous and friendly.
The cleaning service on weekends had to be ordered by 9 am in the morning which is tough during vacations when tiredness takes us over.

For a family of four it was a great room for the price and the quality of service was excellent. The cleaning staff were so understanding and polite too. There were no bugs which is a great plus considering so many other hotels which claim to be a 3 star. Hotel facilities were also great though we didn't get enough time to enjoy them. Public areas were also well maintained and had comfortable seating arrangements which gave it a home feel. Overall great hotel for an affordable price. ...read more

Room was great. I booked a 1 bedroom suite, but they upgraded me to a 2 room suite for the same price. Awesome place to stay if you need a longer term room or if you are traveling with kids. I was just a business traveler for a short stay, still great!
kind of an out of the way location, a little too far off the freeway

Very clean and comfortable.
Nothing to complain about.

I give this hotel more than its 3 star rating. Suite was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Suite had a small kitchen to cook and store foods in a full size refrigerator even though I did not use them except to store drinks in the refrigerator. Nice landscaping and even a BBQ grill to grill steaks by the pool. This is a very nice hotel for families to save money by preparing and storing your own meals. There is a trend for hotels to nickel and dime you for extra fees such as parking and wifi. This hotel offers both for FREE! Full Hot breakfast is included in the lobby. Nice way to start the day. I eat light so i just had the oatmeal with fruit and coffee. They have the regular eggs, sausage or bacon, waffles, yogurt, toast, etc. Overall I was extremely pleased with my stay at this hotel and will likely stay here again. I highly recommend it. ...read more

Didn't go inside the hotel as very disappointed with its location. Surrounded by industrial factory where smoke is coming out from every building. Have to stay unexpectedly in the area and was told by friend to choose Torrance as its a nice and safe area. Has to bid and book a room immediately for that night and I got this hotel. Arriving at the area, I didn't feel safe having kids with me and also worried about my youngest daughter's health who is four and has chronic lung disease as she was born premature. Called Priceline to see if I can cancel my reservation and just pay regular price for a better location hotel. Explain to them my situation especially about my daughter's health concern but was told to just go into the hotel and into our room and lock the door. Needless to say, I booked and stayed to another hotel thru a different site. ...read more
