My husband & I were in Austin for the weekend. This hotel was beautiful, the breakfast bar was amazing. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite for no reason & the room was more than what I had expected to pay. The price was great even just for a king bed 1 room suite. I will defintaly be going back there the next time I go to Austin

When we first walked in the staybridge, we were very impressed; from the ease at which we were checked in at the front desk to the outside appearance of the hotel and we were even more pleasantly surprised upon entering the room. It was very spacious and one of the cleanest rooms i have stayed in. The decor was also modern and very eye pleasing.

This hotel is nice and close to nice restaurants and movie theaters with easy access to highways. While it is undergoing renovations, no water from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. it would have been nice if the staff would have warned me when I checked in at 1:00 a.m. and I would have gotten around earlier than I did. Otherwise, when the hotel is done being renovated it will be excellent.

Construction in the hotel elevators in bad shape.

What a disappointment! The only correct part was the location. This hotel had major remodeling going on. Parking spaces were occupied by new bathtubs, counter tops, Sheetrock mud, etc. Construction workers were living at the hotel which occupied more parking as well. The hotel definitely is not a 3 star hotel and won't be even after the remodel. Only has one elevator, which never comes so just use the stairs. Window in our room could not be locked. Noisy and felt unclean and unsafe. Maid service is limited service only, which states that they will only make your bed. No service on weekends. Not what we signed up for!
