Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. For the price spent, no windows. Couldn't check on until after 4:00pm and a late checkout of 1230 wasn't possible. Really disappointed.

This hotel is charming, and a lovely place to stay. The room was nice, and the bathroom was huge. It is a 10 min. walk from the French Quarter, and about 7 min. from the trolley. It is in a great location. Easy to get to fun spots, no annoying crowd.
I loved this place, however, if you need a place with a gift shop, gym, bar, etc., this probably isn't the place for you. But since there are dozens of gift shops and bars within walking distance, this hotel worked out fantastic for me.

It has free wifi, a little area for printing and faxing if you're working. We were on vacation, so I didn't investigate that much. It's a cute boutique hotel and I'd definitely stay there again. Great location, and they will deliver croissants to your door in the morning if you request breakfast, which was nice. My friends and I went out every night, and although their hotel had breakfast downstairs, they never made it. We, however, had breakfast every morning, with amazing coffee. If you want a charming hotel, and plan to be out and about enjoying the city, I highly recommend this one. If you are one that spends a lot of time at the hotel working out, eating, being at the bar, then this one is not the one for you. But I loved it. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. ...read more

The location of the hotel is great as it was close to the Quarter and close to the Superdome.

Great location, very clean with great New Orleans decor, WONDERFUL STAFF, free WIFI and continental breakfast. Love this hotel!

A great boutique hotel that is centrally located to Bourbon Street, downtown & the Garden district. Close enough where you can walk most places, but far enough away where you can get some sleep when you want to. This hotel is very clean and decorated really well. The very best part of our stay was the friendly and helpful staff. They were such a pleasure to be around. They helped us pick places to go, where to eat, got us a cab, etc. They definitely went above and beyond to make sure our stay was top notch. And ladies, the rooms have a full length mirror and a makeup mirror in the bathroom. What's not to love? I will definitely be staying here again. ...read more

Great hotel, friendly staff. Clean, LARGE rooms. continental breakfast served to the room. Mini fridge and flatpanel TV in the room.
A little bit of a walk to the middle of the french quarter, but Canal street is nice to walk around

Great hotel, friendly staff. Clean, LARGE rooms. continental breakfast served to the room (croissants, coffee, OJ)! Mini fridge and flatpanel TV in the room. No workout room, but front desk gave me a pass to work out at a nearby hotel for free. Nice patio area in the middle. Would definitely recommend.

Location
Staff leaving our doors unlocked while we were out all day touring, leaky faucet and no hotel info in the room and no do not disturb sign.

Everything was great to the exception of above mentioned.

Clean, comfortable, near the Quarter, but far enough away to be quiet and safe. Highly recommended.

The hotel was quaint and charming-the rooms had great character and the beds were very comfortable. The location was well within walking distance of the French Quarter and my sister and I felt safe walking back, even though it was quite late.

This hotel is entirely a non-smoking facility, which I found to be an outstanding feature. There's a courtyard between the two buildings which comprise the hotel, where you can sit for some peace and quiet. The lady at the front desk was most helpful and exhibited the southern charm which you associate with the South. There's valet parking available which was greatly appreciated, as parking is at a minimum. Overall, we loved the St. James and plan to definitely stay there again in the future! ...read more
