This is a one star. That said, the room was large the beds clean and comfortable. If you just need a good night's sleep at affordable price and do not need amenities then this is not a bad place.

The sheets and towels seemed clean. The room was huge.
The staff was rude when I arrived, and impossible to find the next morning. The phone was dead. The walls were thin, and I was placed next to a family with a baby despite the fact that the hotel couldn't have been more than 25% full.

The hotel looked as if somebody had attempted a cheap remodel but never finished it. For instance, the baseboards had been removed for painting and never put back. The "cable" they advertise is really only 3 channels. They don't seem to have king-sized beds, so despite reserving one, I was put in a room with two queens, because they "didn't have any Kings available" - even though the hotel was empty when I checked in. Then, the manager scolded me to make sure I only used one of the two queen beds, since they weren't charging me extra for the second. (who charges extra for a second queen, anyway?) The manager, incidentally, was pretty rude to me. The place is impossible to find, because it's nowhere near the map location, and the person who answered the phone gave abrupt and insufficient directions. The phone was dead, which I discovered when I couldn't turn the shower all the way off and tried to call the office. Then I went to the office to find someone, and there was no one around. I used my cell to call their number, and no one picked up. "Breakfast" consisted of cereal so old it was actually dusty, and really stale mini-donuts. more

The room was BIG
No coffee in room

This is an older chain motel that is now individually owned. The rooms are freshly painted, but need new carpet and base trim. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, the room smelled fresh and the TVA was older but worked OK. The bed was comfortable and the whet sheets were thin but very clean. Convenience of parking just outside the room. AC worked fine.

Big rooms
We got stuck in a snowstorm and it took them 3 hours to plow us out if the parking lot! We had to hire our own service to get us out , when our company showed up all of a sudden their snow plow showed up! Room was not heated and took 3 hours to heat up.

TV reception was horrible, which we were needing for weather information . When booking online said there were only two rooms available when in fact the whole hotel was vacant! I did not appreciate the false advertising! I would not recommend this place at all!

The room was decent.
The breakfast room was not good.

The hotel is pretty far from the center of town, but near a state park. We had just left a LaQuinta in Lubbock, TX that I booked on PL for---. This room at a Knights Inn was--- and not nearly as nice. I had trouble opening the door with the electronic key and when I wanted to go out, I absolutely could not open the door from the inside. Fortunately there was a second door that opened to an inside hallway. I saw the owner and told him about the door and he was able to open it from the inside, but I don't know how he did it. The breakfast room was very disappointing. The jelly packets were like gummy candy and were unusable. They must have expired months or years ago. No waffles, no fruit, no eggs like there was at LaQuinta. This was the worst experience I have had in 7 years of using Priceline. I was traveling with my sister. She was not familiar with Priceline and it would have made a very bad first impression had I not explained that this was not a typical Priceline experience. more
