Hotel Guest Reviews of the Sleep Inn At Pga Village

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The staff was very welcoming, especially the attendant at the desk,Cassandra.

The hotel is in an ideal location adjacent to PGA Village.

Okay place to sleep for the night right off the Interstate in a rather posh Golf oriented village.
While this might have been a gem when it was new, the lack of upkeep has made this property look "worn-out." Numerous bug are residents in this property, as well as the guests!

Pet Lovers Beware! Priceline has a "Pet Friendly" icon in their booking process. This property is anything but friendly to pets, unless you want to pay through your nose. Signage is present at the desk (only visible at check-in) indicating they are pet friendly ONLY IF YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY DOUBLE THE NIGHTLY RATE! Priceline needs to address and remove the Pet Friendly icon from the booking process for this hotel. ...read more

The bed
The shower head is not adjustable in such a small shower that unless you are very tall, you can not shower and shave your legs etc....horrible

Three days without glasses, three days without Kleenex, bugs kille e climbing on wall and the one flying around could not catch, and that infamous shower, the worst

The room was updated with a flat screen TV. The WiFi was free and easy to use. The room had a micro wave, a fridge and a coffee maker. The free breakfast was good.

The pool was in the sun. The a/c worked well.
The hotel rooms and hallways stunk! They smelled musty and mildewed. There was hair in the sink and the shower. The maid said it was state law that she could not clean the room while we were in it. That's ridiculous!

Though the hotel offers free in-room internet, it is not listed on the website as an amenity. We almost didn't booked this room because we knew we needed internet and didn't want to pay for it. Why don't they just list that amenity too? It is very misleading that this hotel is a Sleep Inn on one side of the hallway and a Mainstay on the other side of the hallway. We like to be in the room while the maid cleans the room. I even moved our toiletries out of the bathroom before I asked the maid to clean it. The maid said it was state law that she could not clean the room while we were in it. So I had to put my stuff back into an unclean bathroom. I've stayed in numerous hotels and have never been told that! It was ridiculous and I'm pretty sure it wasn't the truth. I don't understand pet friendly hotels. If they find it necessary to offer rooms for pets, why don't they at least have designated pet rooms? I don't want to sleep where a dog or cat may have slept the night before! That's just not sanitary! ...read more

Friendly Staff. Good breakfast.

I have stayed here several times over the years. The hotel is still nice but starting to show a little aging.
