Welcome to the Sir Stamford Circular Quay
Surround yourself with art, antiques and glorious views one block from the water at the old-world Sir Stamford Circular Quay, which is a popular pick in Sydney among Priceline guests.
Elegant old-world atmosphere oozes from the pores of the 10-story Sir Stamford, which is situated in a listed building that dates back to the late 19th century. Sinfully soft beds, executive work desks, seating areas, minibars and marble bathrooms adorn all 105 rooms; some also have balconies with French doors that open to stunning views. Dine in splendor on modern Australian cuisine in the gracious dining room, which overlooks the Royal Botanic Gardens, or grab afternoon tea and a light meal at the intimate bar/restaurant; 24-hour room service is also available for those who want to dine in private. Gaze over Sydney Harbour from the heated outdoor pool and sun deck, which is adjacent to the fitness center and sauna. Four meeting rooms and a business center help working guests take care of business. Valet and self-parking are available for a fee.
There is no hotel more central than Sir Stamford, which sits directly opposite Circular Quay ferry terminal and across the street from the Botanic Gardens. All the major downtown Sydney attractions are five to 20 minutes away on foot: the iconic Sydney Opera House, Darling Harbour and Sydney Aquarium, the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Queen Victoria Building, and Sydney's historic Rocks area, with its outdoor markets, theaters and galleries. The Monorail, metro and bus are all within a block or two, and offer access to points further away such as Bondi Beach, Olympic Park and the Homebush factory outlet stores. Sydney International Airport is 10 miles away.

Everything we wanted was at the Sir Stamford Sydney. I was showing friends from UK Sydney. Although we checked in early without warning, hotel was able to upgrade us to a large suite for small increase in price, which we didn't mind. Incredibly quiet comfort at this hotel. The location, just near the Opera House and harbour which was wonderful. Staff friendly and helpful.

this should not be a 5 star hotel. the open gathering areas on most floors are very classy & elegant but the room was filthy and always cold. Found 2 dirty socks & a womans dirty undergarmet under a chair and ottoman full of dust as if been there for a long time. Restroom was not very clean over very disappointed in the condition of the room.

This hotel was outstanding, and quite possibly the best we've ever stayed at. The location was superb as we could see both the Sydney 'Coathanger' Bridge and the Opera House out our windows. Literally within 2 minutes walk from Circular Quay transit, eateries, and where it's all happening in Sydney. Also a great proximity to the Rocks area for galleries and funky restaurants. Win Win Win. ...

The front entrance is small, but as you enter you walk into a lavashly furnished lobby with fireplace, and gogeous art work and it felt like a country estate. The room was even more that we could imagine. The bath was huge and done in marble. The room was very large with sofa, chair, and king size bed. Everything was so much better than we anticipated.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated in an outstanding manner by all. Every question or request was treated immediately and with respect and grace. The staff was the most accommodating we have ever encountered.
