The location was good
I did not like the fact that the smoking area was in front of the front door. It makes the hotel seem cheap and it looked like it catered to low class people

The room that I was initially registered for had mold and mildew in the shower. There were ants running along side of the air conditioner. When I said hello to the house keeping staff, they didn't speak back, I don't know if it was because they didn't understand what I said or if they were not interested in saying hello back. I do not plan to stay there again.

The location of the hotel worked out great for family get togethers! The coffee was available in the evening, but often there was no decaf coffee. Fortunately, I was given decaf packets to make coffee in my room. The air conditioning worked well.
Priceline did not have my reservation logged in to this hotel. After the manager made several calls, she discovered that the reservation was e-mailed to a staff who no longer worked there. Also, the FAX number was incorrect.

On one day of my stay, after cleaning, the door was left ajar. I reported this to the manager who said that sometimes the housekeepers do not close the doors completely! She said that she would talk to the housekeeper and supervisor regarding this incident. This hotel really needs updating with new carpets, bedding, and decor. The hotel offered more continental breakfast items on the weekend, but during the week, there was no fruit, or cereal which limited the choices even more. The front desk had to give guests ice out of an icebag because the ice machine was not working. Vicki the manager did fix the Priceline mess, and the housekeeping door left open problem. ...read more

The front desk person was not very friendly..... The hotel is very old and smelled bad..... Didn't even want to walk on carpet with my bare feet.... Will not stay here again

The room smelled like cigarette smoke. There were holes in the blankets. Cigarette burns in the carpet and curtains

Easy access and close to VA hospital.
No, we have stayed at this hotel about 4 times now, when ever we need to go to the Portland VA Hospital. It is easy access to and from the freeways and stores, and it is affordable.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this hotel at an 8.

Absolutely nothing. It was the worst hotel I've stayed at in a decade. Not even a flat screen TV!
Nothing - it was old and dated/dirty

Don't stay here! Old, dated, dirty, no flat screen TV. Horrible.
