Hotel Guest Reviews of the Sheraton Commander Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 1, 2013

A nicely appointed hotel with excellent proximity to campus, dining and the train (Red Line). The staff is professional, friendly and helpful.

Overall a great hotel, he beds were great and the rooms were clean. You can tell the hotel is older, but the rooms were still modern.

The Commander Sheraton is a 1927 structure on the historic site where George Washington took command of the Revolutionary forces. It has a lovely, welcoming lobby, great restaurant with a unique & inviting fire place, and friendly staff. Our room was lovely, comfortable, clean and just right for our trip. The location was perfect for our tour of Lesley University. The gentleman who checked us in asked if we knew the area and we didn't. It was our first visit. He took a minute to highlight a map showing us the great shopping & dining areas within a very short walk along with other sites we might wish to visit. As we checked out, we were given excellent advice about timing our cab ride to the airport to take into account rush hour traffic - we had arrived on a Sunday afternoon and weren't thinking about rush hour, a very busy airport and our 7:00 pm. departure. Waitstaff for dinner and breakfast were so nice. As southerners visiting the Boston/Cambridge area for the first time all three of us remarked on what friendly and helpful people we encountered. We would definitely recommend this hotel & restaurant to others and will stay there again for our next trip.
