Hotel Guest Reviews of the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The hotel was centrally located and the subway convenient. Did not need the car for any of our sightseeing.
I did not like the check in setup. Way too confusing. Parking at the hotel was too expensive. However we parked across the street for about $15 a day. There is an underground tunnel that gets to the hotel.

Definitely save money parking at city hall garage. There are 2 towers of rooms. We had the Richmond tower which is not good. It is not a 4 star quality. Others at the conference stayed in the Queen tower. I visited these rooms and they are consistent with the hotel rating. I paid the 4star price for the 3star rooms. The elevator service depends upon the tower. If you are wondering how some rate this hotel highly and others not so high, my experience would suggest which tower was assigned. The pool was fantastic. The lobby wifi was free and plug in stations very convenient. This was best place to make calls back to the USA. ...read more

Very clean. Beautiful lobby!
Really long line-up to check in - hotel should have had more staff working when they knew it was going to be that busy.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times in the past and have liked it but we noticed that the customer service level has declined a little over the past year. The lobby at this hotel is amazing and the waterfall is a beautiful feature - sometimes they have ducks in the pond when the weather is nicer. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. They need to get firmer pillows (or make sure to bring your own). Didn't hear any significant noise in hallways or from other rooms considering they were so busy on the week-end that we were there. ...read more

Good location, close to city parking, cleaning staff were friendly
Long wait and slow check-in, was told a king bed would cost extra (first time hearing about this), room was not properly prepared, missing a shower curtain and had plastic wrappers on the floor

Disappointing service and room preparation compared to previous stays at this hotel. Was surprised that I had to commit to a checkout time at the time of check in.

Fantastic location, helpful staff.
Room was quite dated. Carpet was well-worn. Have to wonder how it earned it's rating. Valet parking fee, the breakfast buffet, and internet fees are all extremely expensive.

Great location and lobby
Bed was not comfortable and the lines for check-in and out were atrocious.

I will not reccommend this hotel as a 4-star. Maybe a 3. Maybe.

Great lobby, fantastic location.
My major complaint is that that the room lacked a few of the details I'd expect from a 4-star hotel: real cups/mugs, and robes for the room. The use of plastic cups was particularly classless, not to mention making a mockery of the hotel's "green" claims

Great place to stay in the heart of downtown Toronto! Nice service, and a lovely lobby, with handy access to the network of underground shops/malls, esp. in winter. Close to Queen West and Entertainment District, Eaton Centre, etc. Our room was simple but well-appointed and clean. A few details detracted from the "nice hotel" vibe: the use of plastic cups and disposable coffee cups, and the lack of a couple of comfy robes in the closet. Overall, great place to stay. ...read more

For us, the location was perfect. It was a block from the venue for the Canadian Opera Company. Despite the construction in the area, it was easy to navigate by car from the Gardiner Expressway to the hotel.
I thought the parking charges were exorbitant, more costly than even NYC.

There is easy access to a pub, Quin's and to Shoppsy's, and we found the food and prices to be better there than at the pub in the main lobby of the hotel.

There's a fee for everyhting & that guests needed to pay for wi-fi. I didn't even use it but got charged anyways! Be careful.

Great location.
Rooms are old and worn. Heater would not turn off, so the room was too hot all night. Rooms are more like a 2 star. Very disappointing!

We did not have time to use the pool facilities, so I am unable to comment about that area of the hotel. The lobby was lovely.
