Hotel Guest Reviews of the Sedona Rouge Hotel And Spa

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The staff was nice
Yes, the restaurant was not to my expectations, they closed it and had you eating in the bar. What they had to offer was only bar food.

Way too expensive for what they had to offer. I would not consider this place anything special. I will not be back

Good service and pleasant staff at front desk and Reds restaurant.
Very small room, no view, no bathtub, ordinary pool and spa, tiny clothes closet almost too small for two people. Beds not very comfortable. Not 4 star accommodations and way overpriced.

The view of the mountains
It needs a remodel and the restaurant had a limited menu

Good location. Great restaurant
They charge a hidden daily resort fee. Rooms facing the road side are not the best choice. Check out is ridiculously early at 10 am. Only one tiny garbage can in bathroom. Not many easily accessible plug ins. Old fixtures (lamps etc).

Description leads you to believe that it is rather secluded and in the hills. It's on an incredibly busy street with a supermarket next door.

The room was spacious and clean. It was in a good location, could walk to good restaurants and a supermarket. The pool area was nice. Liked that each room had a private patio area.

The staff are pleasant and helpful, and there's nothing inherently wrong with this place. But be advised that you are only a very short distance from a state highway, next to a large Safeway shopping complex, and in a lot of sprawl.
Don't go here thinking you'll be in solitude with nature. There's an observatory deck, but there are lights up there, and plenty of light from the surrounding sprawl, so you really aren't going to see much of the night sky.

There's really no where to walk to (other than shopping centers) from this place. It is not a far drive to some good hikes, though.

Location, In town. Clean nice rooms.
Felt the pics showed a better view than what actually existed.

Although the hotel is on a busy street and is right next to a supermarket the distant natural beauty is breathtaking.
I was surprised at check in by a $20 fee to use the facilities. This was not disclosed at booking and was too much for what was offered. A disappointment. I will be wary of booking through Priceline in future.

Near movie theater
Hotel is on major highway. Rooms look at pools and parking lots, spa is way overpriced for a Days Inn type hotel (which this is).

At best, this hotel is a 3-star, and that is being generous. It is like a nice Best Western with an overpriced spa and adjacent restaurant (which is decent to good). For the price, the rooms are not worth more than---/night. The location is horrible unless for some reason you want to be on the major road in Sedona, rather than some nice hotel that is quite and all rooms have great views. We would never stay hear again. ...read more
