No vending machines, the refrigerator ruigned ALL OF our food, the bed was so bad that my son, who had a wrestling Tournament the next morning, had to sleep on the floor, and the microwave didn't even work. All in all, it was HORRIBLE!

The entire hotel, including both non-smoking rooms I stayed in, smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. As stated, the baseboard heater in the first room didn't work, but it took more than 5 hours before the second room felt reasonably warm. Though I was warned it would eventually become extremely hot in the room if I kept the thermostat on high, that never came close to happening. A continental breakfast was advertised on Priceline, but there wasn't one. The wifi signal was pretty weak and my phone kept switching from wifi to 3G because the signal kept going in and out...good thing I didn't need to use a wifi only tablet or laptop. I understand it's only a 1 star hotel, but the reasons I chose this hotel was because it was extremely close to a conference I was attending, had free wifi and an advertised continental breakfast. Poor service or lack of service on 2 of three items advertised should make this a 0 star hotel...maybe 1/2 a star because the desk person was extremely kind. I also didn't know there was another hotel in the town...I would have gladly paid the extra money and been further away from the conference for a warmer room and the other items mentioned. ...

For the price the hotel is clean and resonable. Its not a best Western or confort inn, however. It is a place to sleep.

although friendly, management had us down for the wrong number of nights and the wrong number of people. as a result of this, each day I would remind the manager that we didn't have enough towels, etc, and each night we would come back to the room only to find that the problem had not been solved. I finally gave up and bought my own towel, face cloth and wash cloth. the manager was thorough enough however to call me two days after we departed to tell me I had left a bag of kettle corn in the room and he would hold it for me until I could get back to get it! ...
