Hotel Guest Reviews of the Rock Cabin Camping

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Ralph was awesome! Very helpful, extremely polite! Rooms itself was smaller than we expected but actually quite cozy. Liked the area outside for fire/grill etc. Wonderful experience having dinner and hanging out under the clear nightsky
Bathroom was too small, not heated. There was scarcely any warm water in the shower, none in the basin! There is no internet in the rooms, even though the website talks of Wifi..

Overall a below average experience. We travel frequently and have stayed at much better accommodations for a lower price. It helps that Ralph is really nice, but that really doesnt do much to enhance the experience. What irked me most was not even having warm water! And its okay to not have internet, but then dont advertise it!

located close to national park, helpful owner, sheets were clean
the bathroom was so small you had to sit on the toilet on an angle or your knees would jam into the vanity, the size of the room was tiny and I booked for three and the space was for two, lots of quirks, would not return

The owner was friendly and the location was the closest to the National Park. The on-line pictures are not a true representation of my experience. I found the room to be extra tiny and very outdated/worn out. The bathroom tiles were in fairly decent condition but logistics of layout caused you to sit on the toilet at an angle or your knees would be jammed into the vanity- I am 5'7" and two other occupants 5'10, 6'-uncomfortable, the bathroom door is literally just to the right of the head of the bed -very little privacy. I would not return, there were more established chains within a few miles, worth the extra 5 minute drive for the quality. ...read more
