Hotel Guest Reviews of the Residence Inn Portland Downtown Lloyd Center

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The layout of the hotel is just like an apartment building so you don't really feel like you are in a hotel at all..it truly felt like home.
Honestly the only thing I had an issue with was the staff upon checking in. The women who were at the front desk were quite condescending, actually, bordering on rude.I was told I could not check in until 4pm.Everything else was wonderful but the checkin

The only other issue I had was with the cleanliness of the floors. The kitchen floor had debris on it as well as the bathroom floor and the carpet

There was nothing to dislike about this hotel. The location was great. The rooms were large, clean and modern. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had free parking, free dinner on Mondays & Wednesdays, and free breakfasts & free WiFi every day.

The outdoor acces to the rooms was awesome. Didn't feel crowded. Plenty of free parking. Love the area for sitting or group picnic, bbq.
Serving area for breakfast very small. Lots of elbow bumping at the time my family ate.

Great location. It's right next to the Lloyd Center, but more importantly, you just get on the bridge and (depending on which bridge), you're either in the Pearl District or Downtown. It allows you to be close to Downtown without their hotel rates.
My only complaint is that the way the buildings are constructed results in A LOT of noise. You can hear your neighbors walking and you can hear when they turn on the water in their rooms. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs.

If you need to be close to Downtown Portland but don't want to pay their rates, stay here. Just bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Staff is extremely nice, helpful and friendly. Loved the room, including how much space is provided. Great to have a kitchen with a refrigerator, glasses, dishes and silverware.
