Hotel Guest Reviews of the Residence Inn Portland Downtown Lloyd Center

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. It was actually beyond my expectations for a 3-star. The way the place looked on the outside and my room almost had me believing I was steps up from a typical hotel.
With everything looking spectacular I thought the bathroom was too small. A 10-style room with a 5-style bathroom. Great shower but tiny space.

Great hotel, definitely recommend others to check it out. I was on the first floor and granted, you can hear people talking as they walked by the window but for me it was a minimal issue. Nice little patio area open to all to grill and have drinks if you like. Not far from the restaurants, shopping, coffee shops.

Room size was nice.
Under construction and was a bit confusing trying to find the front desk. The room was clean but the bath tub had some hairs in it...

It looked like an apartment complex form the outside. I could see if I was staying here over an extended period how it would be better over all. For my one night stay, it was alright. The room was a great size, but the layout of the place was confusing. Especially with it being under construction. I was mot looking forward to the hot complimentary breakfast that was so boasted about online, but when I got there it was a bunch of people crammed into a hotel room with the bed and couch removed. It was very hot and crowded. I ended up just sampling some eggs and getting out as soon as I could. I would stay there again, but probably only if I was doing an extended stay to make use of all of the amenities I paid for. Also, I would wait until the construction is over for the breakfast and pool. ...read more

it was really close to the convention center and had real comforters.
they have a random $40 charge on my cc that I have no idea what it's for or what?!

The free breakfast was cool, but because they're remodeling the wiring is all messed up and any time someone pushed the toaster button down, the whole room would blackout. Completely ridiculous. The pool was closed and everything was kind of a mess. Also, there wasn't a checkout time listed and so I got yelled at by a maid... at like 12:15.

Location, free breakfast, size of room, room price, free parking.
We left something in the room at checkout. I called housekeeping and never received a return call. My daughter went to pick up the item and the front desk could not access lost and found in housekeeping. Were not able to retrieve the item.

How large the room was. It was spacious and clean. I rarely want to spend much time in a hotel room, but this room felt like home.
Nothing substantial, but the hot buffet breakfast was a bit lacking. Hot food like eggs and burrito styled eggs were cold. due to renovations, the breakfast room was crowded, there wasn't enough waffle irons for everyone, there was always a wait for coffee

Great for saving money: free parking, hot breakfast. Friendly staff in and around the area. Try to book a room in the inner courtyard facing away from highway traffic is best.

Great room with full kitchen
The lobby and breakfast room were being remodeled so they were not very good. Oh we'll. everything else was great.

The room was comfortable.
The bed was uncomfortable, room was noisy due to upstairs people walking around & freeway noise. Breakfast was served in a very small room - way too many people competing over food.
