Hotel Guest Reviews of the Residence Inn Pittsburgh North Shore

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

I got a flat tire the night before the marathon, and the following morning the manager offered to drive me to the repair shop I was towed to. They also recovered my fiance's passport and mailed it two day for free. Everything about this hotel was amazing.
No, everything was perfect.

Calling my stay at this hotel exceptional doesn't do it justice. First of all, the location was great. We were in town to do some sightseeing and to check out a Pirates game. When I say the hotel was across the street from the stadium, I'm not joking. Every experience with the staff was wonderful. We were in town the weekend of the marathon, which caused the streets around the hotel to be closed for certain periods during the weekend. The Friday night before the marathon we got a flat tire and had to be towed to a repair shop. The following morning when we went down to ask where we could find a taxi, the manager of the hotel offered to drive us to the repair shop in her car. This was completely unexpected and greatly appreciated. A couple hours after checking out of the hotel, I received a call stating that my fiance had left her passport in the room. I thought we would have to pay to have it shipped home, but they shipped it to us free of charge and once again proved why they are the premier hotel in Pittsburgh. Needless to say, I will only be staying here on all future trips to the Pittsburgh area. ...read more

everything about the room was great, the staff was very helpful with early check-in and late check-out. We also forgot our fudge in the refrigerator and we went back to get it and the front desk and a maintenance man were very helpful in getting it back.
No everything was perfect.

the rooms were great and the staff very helpful. The only thing I would change is that the breakfast in the morning was crowded and they seemed to run out of food. My husband and I both thought the the sheets smelled so fresh and it the bed was very comfortable to sleep on.

Location was perfect for going to the game.
Everything was great

Hotel staff was wonderful. Within walking distance of downtown and the ballpark is 30 seconds away from the front door. Room was comfortable and very quiet.

Amazing room, directly across the street from the ballpark and free shuttle service around the city
We booked 2 one night stays and they said we couldn't put them together but when we packed up after the first night to check out and into the other room they said we didn't have to do that and we could go back to the same room. minor but very inconvenient

Be prepared to pay $20 a night for parking but perfect location and amazing rooms

Staff was very friendly and helpful! Location was good an the shuttle service was fantastic.
Price for the time of year was a bit steep. I could understand if both stadiums were in season.

Staff and shuttle driver very helpful and friendly. Room was beautiful and spacious. Price was a little steep for "off season" (stadiums not open).

I liked that the room was a suite with full kitchen.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to a baseball/football game in Pittsburgh. Right across the street from PNC Park. Room was great.
